Secondly, the other reviews led me to believe these would work even though they are a different brand.
Third, they work surprisingly good. And my experience was just as the other reveiwers had said. My printer gave me notifying msg saying that the cartrideges were not Brother and I clicked ok, as the others did.

Brother LC75 cartridges are the very best online!
Was going to order cartridges for my MFC-240C printer, but took the advice from my wife and ordered from Inkjetsclub instead. The savings was significant (paying just under $9 instead of $35 per cartridge) and the ink functions just fine. An initial worrisome glitch with the printer not accepting a non-Brother cartridge was easily and successfully diagnosed and taken care of by customer service. (All I had to do was turn off then unplug the printer for a few minutes which cleared its memory. It accepted the Inkjetsclub ink after that. Customer service was very reassuring, professional, and offered to send another cartridge at no cost if their solution did not work. I would wholeheartedly recommend Inkjetsclub and will be purchasing my ink from them now on.
